released Belonging To The Floor after two years of intermittent recording
sessions and several months dedicated to the publication.
The album aimed to strip synth textures down to their bare
minimum, marking a return to a more acoustic production approach. At the same
time, the fourth track, Keen, explores the sound of analogue drum machines
paired with a quartet of live-sampled saxophones.
Story That Pauses Us represents a turning point within the album, built around two string instruments engaging in a dialogue through shifting dissonances. The final track is a reworked version of a single released months earlier, closing the album on a wistful note.
